Project scope

(i) temporary relocation of existing SEN prefabricated unit and then removal once construction of extension is completed. (ii) the construction of a new three-storey extension, consisting of 3no. general classrooms, a 2no. classbase SEN Unit, 6no. specialist classrooms and associated ancillary accommodation to include site and landscaping works (total area of extension = 2004m²). (iii) single storey link to connect to existing building. (iv) the relocation of 10 No. bicycle spaces all to be covered. (v) new car parking layout at rear and side of existing school, providing a total of 65no. car spaces on the site, of which 2 No. are accessible parking bays and including an SEN dedicated set down area. (vi) the installation of 28 No. south-southwest facing photo-voltaic panels on the extension roof. any excess microgeneration will be put back into the electricity grid. (vii) an Appropriate Assessment Screening has been completed as part of this application
