Project scope

A 10-year planning permission for works to the existing Derryiron 110 kilovolt (kV) electricity substation comprising (i) an increase to the footprint of the substation compound by 190 square metres (m2) arising from the realignment of the existing palisade fence; (ii) the installation of electrical equipment including circuit breakers, cable sealing ends and voltage transformers; (iii) the installation of approximately 20m of 110kV underground electricity line; and, (iv) all associated ancillary site development works.
