The variations comprise (a) an increase in the size of the site along its northern boundary by 2m; (b) taking down the gable of the existing cottage and part of adjoining walls; (c) constructing a new gable 3m away from the road boundary; (d) miscellaneous changes to the proposed design and layout of the dwelling as a result of (a), (b) and (d); and all associated site works.
