Project scope

retain the as built car park and all associated site works for Midland Regional Hospital Portlaoise, in a revised location to the east of the car park location previously granted temporary permission under Planning Register No. 23/60314. Permission is also sought to change the temporary usage of the car park (granted permission under Planning Register No. 23/60314) to permanent usage car park. As per the previous permission, the site is accessed from the existing private road on HSE lands off Block Road, being located to the southwest of the existing Midland Regional Hospital Portlaoise campus. The as built car park is located within the grounds of St. Fintan’s Hospital & Healthcare Campus, which is listed as Protected Structure RPS 179 in the current Laois County Development Plan 2021-2027.
