Project scope

Planning permission for a Large-scale Residential Development (LRD) consisting of modifications to the LRD permitted under ACP Ref.: 322195-25 (DLRCC Reg. Ref.: LRD24A/0870/WEB), on a site at Carrickmines Great, Glenamuck Road South, Dublin 18. The application site is located to the east of Cairnbrook residential estate, south and west of Springfield Lane, and north-east of Rockville Drive / Glenamuck Cottages. The proposed development relates to modifications to the permitted 5 storey apartment buildings B.01 and B.02, located in the eastern part of the LRD site, and will consist of: •Reconfiguration of the floorplans of 14 no. 2 bed apartments within apartment buildings B.01 and B.02 (all levels); •Provision of enlarged balconies for the 2 no. revised 2 bed apartments at podium level of apartment building B.02; •Alteration of the eastern and western elevations of apartment buildings B.01 and B.02 relating to the arrangement and size of the fenestration and balconies; •Associated relocation and reconfiguration of the stair/lift core and floorplans of 5 no. 1 bed apartments within apartment building B.01 (all levels); •All associated internal and external alterations to apartment buildings B.01 and B.02. The permitted LRD under ACP Ref.: 322195-25 (DLRCC Reg. Ref.: LRD24A/0870/WEB) provides for 157 no. residential units (66 no. apartments, 46 no. duplex / apartment units and 45 no. houses) and a childcare facility. The proposed modifications relate to modifications to 19 no. of the permitted 66 no. apartments only, and will not result in any alteration of the number, size, or mix of residential units within the permitted development. The proposed modifications will not result in any alteration of the permitted childcare facility.
