Project scope

- RED III - for 2 no. plant compounds which will be ancillary to the Enhanced Community Care Hub which was previously granted planning permission under planning reference 24/60209. The ASHP (Air Source Heat Pump) Compound is proposed at 24m2 and will be located externally at ground floor level. It will comprise 2 no. heat pumps erected on a concrete plinth which will be screened and secured from the surrounding ECC development with palisade fencing. The Substation compound is proposed at 74.4m2 and will be located adjacent to the public car park at lower ground floor level and will comprise a single-storey substation building and an external yard. The Substation building, comprising 41m2 will be constructed to ESB standards and will comprise 1 No. LV Switch room, 1 No. MV Switch room and 1 No. ESB Substation. An external yard of 34.4m2 will be screened and secured from the car park with palisade fencing and will comprise 1 No. LV Generator in sound attenuated enclosure and 1 No. generator oil tank
