Project scope

the construction of a 287m3 bovine slatted underground slurry storage tank connecting to an existing slurry tank with agitation points, a 229m3 dairy washings underground storage tank and a 1.8m high mass concrete wall along the length of the dairy washings tank separating the farmyard and the dwelling house. New concrete yard and low gradient concrete steps to tank level from cow lane. Construction of a 16.7m3 additional effluent tank to accommodate construction of a 540m2 silage pad with perimeter effluent drains. The demolition of an existing 40m2 derelict rubble stone house/shed, demolition of an existing silage wall to accommodate a wider feeding passage from 3.5m to 5.5m and construction of new 1.8m high pit wall to replace demolished wall, hard and soft landscaping and all associated works to facilitate the development.
