Project scope

development at on lands at Ashe Road, Mullingar, County Westmeath Planning Application sought by MELA Homes, following pre-planning consultation with Westmeath County Council under reference PP6826. The proposed development consists of works to a protected structure (Rps 019-020 NIAH 15310002), the demolition of two vacant agricultural sheds, and the construction of 55 no. residential units, resulting in a total of 57 no. units. The residential development comprises: 16 no. four-bedroom, two-storey terraced houses; 18 no. three-bedroom, two-storey terraced houses; 17 no. two-bedroom, two-storey terraced houses; 4 no. one-bedroom apartments; and 2 no. three-bedroom, two-storey semi-detached houses as part of the proposed works to the protected structure (Rps 019-020 NIAH 15310002). The development also includes all associated site development works, including surface water and foul drainage infrastructure, utility services, boundary treatments, internal roads, landscaped open spaces, footpaths, and all ancillary site works
