Project scope

Permission and RETENTION Permission, the development will consist of Permission to (A) construct a 233m2 multi-purpose community building with 1st floor area, (B) extend existing club house consisting of 2 additional dressing rooms, referee’s room, modifications & alternations to existing clubhouse, (C) install a 50m x 23m all-weather astro area with associated fencing & floodlighting (D) relocated position of existing playing pitch, (E) install floodlit walking track around the perimeter of the site, (F) install skills wall, (G) reconfigure & relocate carpark (H) decommission existing septic tank & install new wastewater treatment unit with percolation area. RETENTION Permission is sought for (I) an extension of the site boundaries/curtilage of the existing GAA grounds to the north and north-east which is currently used as a training area. Permission is sought to use this area to facilitate the provision of a proposed new pitch with associated floodlights & ball stops & all associated site development works
