Project scope

Retention of 5 no. apartment units and change of use from commercial (Class 12) public house. The development consists of the retention of the intended productive re-use for housing and the formation of 5 no. apartments [ 1 no. 3 bed, 3 no. 2 bed and 1 no. 1 bed] associated with the conversion of a qualifying vacant commercial premises, the former public house. The proposed retention development includes; alterations to the respective façades of the former commercial premises, as presents more domestic scaled window and door opes; two storey extended premises to side and rear as measures 107 sqm additional floor area to the former 317 sqm commercial (pub/residence) premises. The retention works includes the repurposing of part of the ground floor of an existing two-storey commercial store to provide storage space ancillary to the proposed retained residential units; as includes 15 no. secure cycle spaces, secure waste bin storage for 15 bins (5 x 3 no. waste bin system), 12 no. car parking spaces, 41 sqm of communal amenity space area to the rear courtyard area of the residential scheme and a maintained and improved wastewater treatment system (17 p.e. biocycle plant) and associated polishing filter percolation area, all above and below ground ancillary works, boundary and landscaping scheme
