This development will consist of a new single storey extension to the north-east of the existing building containing a course room, training space, staff meeting room, kitchen and associated services; and a new single storey extension to the south-west of the existing building containing additional kitchen capacity and storage. It is intended that the new extension uses the same architectural language as the existing building with rendered walls and aluminium framed windows and flat roofs – all as previously approved in 13/500117 and 20/960. Also includes a new paved 60sqm roof terrace to the east elevation of the first floor of the existing flat roof, accessed by a new glazed door with balustrade to perimeter as previously approved in 24/165. The previously permitted steps to the flat roof are not incorporated. Sixteen new car-parking spaces are to be created using the existing road access and associated site works.
