The development will consist of a 10-year permission for the construction of an energy storage facility (i.e. a co-located energy storage development as per the Renewable Energy Directive III) within a total site area of approximately 4.16 hA, to include one IPP modular control building on concrete plinths with a maximum height of 4.63m and associated electrical compound, 180 containerised battery storage modules on concrete support structures with a maximum height of 4.2m, 30 electrical transformer / inverter stations on concrete supports, associated electrical ducting / cabling, security fencing and CCTV security monitoring system, storage containers, lightning protection poles and ancillary equipment. The development will also include the demolition of an existing unfinished dwelling structure.
