Project scope

to extend (234 sq. m) the existing Sandcastle Childcare Centre, the extension will consist of 3 separate extensions to the building. The primary extension will be to the front (southeast) and side (southwest) of the building, and the other two extensions will be to the rear (northwest) of the building. The accommodation will consist of 2 no. classrooms including ancillary accommodation (toilets, nappy changing and sleep room), new entrance porch, 2 no. offices and entrance hall, and facilitate the extension of the existing staff room and the provision of internal modifications to provide an additional staff toilet. Works to include all associated building modifications and elevational changes. The existing site boundary is to be increased (revised site boundaries) to facilitate an on-site car park.
