Project scope

1. The amalgamation of two existing industrial warehouse units (unit 6 – 308 m2, unit 7 - 347.18 m2) with an existing parking and service area into an enlarged single unit – 772.42 m2, and the associated demolition / removal of the existing party wall, internal stairs, partitions walls, office enclosure, toilet areas, ceiling and mezzanine floor areas (81.82 m2). 2. Change of use for the new enlarged unit from light industrial use to a builders’ merchant / trade counter depot with ancillary warehouse, showroom/display, office and staff facilities. 3. Proposed works to include all necessary site and associated development works, including construction of a new mezzanine floor of 187 m2 and internal stair access, minor modifications to the elevations to include a new customer entrance with associated signage behind the existing roller shutter doors, widening of the existing roller shutter door opening, external signage and associated lighting, and a new fire escape door.
