Project scope

a) The erection of a temporary 100m high lattice type meteorological mast which will be secured to ground anchors by stay wires and will include instruments for measuring local climate conditions, services, and associated equipment; b) A fixed red aviation light will be fitted near the top of the lattice section of the proposed meteorological mast; c) Bird flight deterrent markers fitted to each stay wire at approximately 10m intervals; and d) All associated ancillary works. The temporary meteorological mast development will remain in position for a period of 5 years after which the mast, instruments, services, equipment, and all associated ancillary works will be removed.
