Retention & Permission for a "Change of use of 1.1ha agricultural lands to a vehicle storage compound, extending the existing permitted facility (granted under ref. MCC Reg. Ref. LB151327 and Waste Permit Licence Number WFP-MH-12-007-01). Vehicles being stored on the subject site will include (i) s.41 Garda seized vehicles; (ii) crashed and damaged vehicles awaiting insurance assessment; and (iii) ELVs (pending their removal to an authorised waste transfer and recycling facility). PERMISSION for Ancillary and enabling works include: a) Provision of an area of new aggregate hardstanding of c.0.9ha (resulting in a total extended car storage area of c.1.1ha), b) Erection of 2m high paladin security fencing to new site, c) Provision of a 0.5m high earth berm, landscaped with a mix of native deciduous and coniferous screen planting along perimeter of new area, d) Provision of a prefabricated single storey flat roofed c.14.5sqm building comprising staff welfare facilities, e) Installation of an upgraded/enlarged oil interceptor serving the 0.38ha existing compound, f) Upgrade and extension of existing concrete surfaces on the permitted 0.38ha site, as applicable. g) 1 no. staff car parking space. RETENTION of 0.2ha of aggregate area (previously and temporarily used for car storage). Not in use currently but proposed to be included in the 1.1ha new vehicle storage facility.
