We, Johanna and Nick Hughes, intend to apply for permission for the construction of a single-storey rear extension to the existing dwelling at Colpe East, Donacarney, Co. Meath, A92 R5P8, Ireland. The proposed development will accommodate a new open-plan kitchen, dining and living area together with WC and utility/store accommodation, and will include all associated internal modifications, elevational alterations, site development works, drainage infrastructure, landscaping and ancillary site services. The proposed development will incorporate a contemporary pitched roof design together with Irish stone cladding and complementary stone detailing to the existing dwelling. The development consists of: -The existing site is a residential property located at Colpe East, Donacarney, Co. Meath, A92 R5P8, Ireland, within an established rural/residential setting. The site comprises an existing detached dwelling and associated domestic curtilage, with the proposed extension located to the rear of the existing house. The property benefits from an established site layout and enjoys frontage onto the local public road network. -The surrounding area is characterised by a mixture of one-off rural dwellings and established residential properties, creating a low-density residential context. The site is well positioned in proximity to the villages of Donacarney, Bettystown and Mornington, benefiting from access to a range of local amenities including schools, shops, recreational facilities, beaches and coastal walks. The area is also served by established transport links connecting to Drogheda, Laytown and Dublin, making the location well suited to family living and compatible with the proposed residential extension development. The planning application may be inspected or purchased at a fee not exceeding the reasonable cost of making a copy, at the offices of Meath County Council, Buvinda House, Dublin Road, Navan, County Meath, C15 Y291, during its public opening hours.
