Demolition and redevelopment

Project scope

a. Demolition of a single storey ground floor extension (63m2), first floor extension (15m2) and a stairwell (6m2). b.Refurbishment of 389m2 at first floor level and construction of a first-floor extension (72m2), to the existing hospital building, to provide a recovery and admissions area for healthcare use. c. Elevational alterations, including new windows to the existing hospital building at first floor level. d. Retention of a three-storey extension, to the existing hospital building, to provide a 24 single bedroom ward and a new entrance and café area at ground floor level (1764m2), a theatres department accommodating 4 no. operating theatres and a CSSD department at first floor level (1813m2) and a plant area at second floor level (1134m2) for healthcare use. e. Retention of a single storey building (104m2) to provide a maintenance workshop, office, store and associated ancillary accommodation. f. Retention of a VIE compound including a single storey building (25m2) and external storage enclosures (41m2). g. Permission for retention is also so sought for external site lighting, attenuation tanks, reconfiguring and extending of existing carparking facilities, general upgrade of landscaped areas along with all other site services.
