Project scope

The development will consist of amendments to previously permitted planning permission K.C.C. Reg. Ref. 21 - 1153 comprising of the conversion of the three storey apartment block containing three, two-bedroom apartments to a three storey terrace containing three, two-bedroom houses with 9sqm terraces at second floor in each house. Conversion of the two storey apartment block containing two, two-bedroom apartments to a two storey terrace of two, two-bedroom houses.The lengths of the two blocks are to remain unchanged. The widths of the two blocks will be modified to accommodate change to houses. The internal floor area of three storey block will increase from the granted 276sqm to a proposed 316.4sqm, and the internal floor area of the two-storey block will reduce from the granted 184sqm to a proposed 165.4sqm, resulting in a proposed total overall increase in floor area of 21.8sqm. Replacement of the granted 3.2m high stone wall which forms an outdoor open courtyard, with a 1.1m high rendered block wall and pergola feature at boundary with existing car park.Minor relocation of the two granted blocks to provide the required rear gardens to houses.Minor revisions to the layout of the central green area.Reduction in number of residential car parking spaces from nine to five spaces with E.V. charging.
