Project scope

the upgrade and extension of the existing Upper Liffey Valley Sewerage Scheme_Athgarvan Wastewater Pumping Station: (1) Alterations to the existing Wastewater Pumping Station, comprising: (a) Demolition and removal of existing manholes, valve chamber, control kiosks, vent stacks and fencing, (b) Repurposing of the existing wet well into new bypass screen chamber, (c) Replacement of the existing standby generator and fuel storage. (2) Construction of a new Wastewater Pumping Station, comprising: (a) Below ground construction of wet well, and emergency storage tank with 24 hours storage capacity, and interconnecting pipework and manholes, (b) Above ground construction of delivery pipework and fittings, odour control unit and vent stack, control kiosk, welfare kiosk, vacuum flush kiosk, gantry crane and ESB mini pillar, (c) Construction of a new security site gate and palisade site fencing, (d) Proposed hard and soft landscaping works to include screen planting, (e) All associated ancillary works including site works and temporary working areas
