The proposed development consists of the installation of a single roof-light (Velux type window) measuring 55cm x 70cm to the front roof slope of the existing dwelling at 40 Beach Road, Sandymount, Dublin 4. The roof-light is proposed to serve the attic stairwell and is intended to improve the provision of natural daylight to this internal circulation space. No other alterations to the external appearance of the dwelling are proposed.
