The development will consist of façade upgrade works comprising the installation of a two-storey high structural frame with trellis infill and integrated planting to the front elevation, together with associated enhancements to external finishes and architectural detailing. The development will also provide for 2 no. single-storey covered outdoor seating areas with retractable awnings, positioned to the front of the proposed structural frame. The proposed works further include the modification of an existing first-floor window opening to provide a doorway and access to a new first-floor balcony incorporated within the proposed two-storey structural frame and serving the existing function room. The balcony will provide an ancillary outdoor smoking area associated with the existing premises. The development also includes the provision of new signage and all ancillary site development works necessary to facilitate the proposed development. The application is accompanied by a Noise Impact Assessment.
