Hammerson ICAV intends to apply for Temporary Permission for a period of 5 years at a site (c.1.1 ha), at Swords Pavilions Shopping Centre, R132 and R106 Malahide Road, Swords, Co Dublin. For development comprising: 10no. outdoor padel courts (L:20m x W:10m each) and integrated lighting; 6no. of the courts to be partially covered with 10m high open-sided steel and canvas dome; 2no. converted, timber-clad, shipping containers (H:3-4m) to accommodate ancillary reception/court booking and rental shop (c.39 sq m), café (c.39 sq m), wc facilities and rooftop viewing platform; 2no. external, timber-lattice, marquee structures with seating and viewing space. And, all associated and ancillary site development, landscaping and boundary treatments, including: 1no. new pedestrian access from the existing Swords Pavilions’ surface car park area; 44no. bicycle parking spaces; court netting, external lighting; power and lighting connections.
