Lecaltone Limited intend to apply for permission for development on lands bounded to the north by Kitestown Road, to the south by Thormanby Road, and to the west by Balkill Road, Howth, Dublin 13. The development will consist of the construction of 24 no. residential houses, comprising of 22 no. 3-storey, 5-bedroom, semi-detached houses, and 2 no. 3-storey detached 5-bedroom houses, all houses to be provided with balconies, along with 48 no. car parking spaces, with bin and bicycle parking storage provided within the curtilage of each unit. The proposed development will provide for public open space, landscaping and boundary treatments; public lighting; 1 no. ESB substation; drainage connections, together with all associated site infrastructure and engineering works necessary to facilitate the development, including diversion of existing overhead power line, and provision of a new footpath and pedestrian crossing on Thormanby Road. The main vehicular and pedestrian access is proposed via Thormanby Road, while the 2 no. detached houses will be accessed via a new entrance on Kitestown Road. The development will also include a pedestrian connection to the existing public right of way (former Tramline), which traverses the site.
