The development will consist of a Park & Ride facility with a total of 733 car parking spaces, including 522 standard spaces, 37 spaces for mobility-impaired users (including 29 standard and electric vehicle charging spaces, along with 8 larger spaces), 72 spaces designated for electric vehicles and an additional 72 space futureproofed for electric vehicles. Additionally, the facility will include 3 bus bays and passenger shelters to enhance accessibility and convenience for users. Provision for active travel will be made with a hardstanding area for a bike shelter and lockers. The scheme will also include hard and soft landscaping, planting, lighting, boundary treatments, surface-foul water drainage, public lighting, CCTV, ESB substation, and all other associated and ancillary works. An Environmental Impact Assessment Report (EIAR) and a Natura Impact Statement (NIS) will be submitted to the Planning Authority with the planning application and the EIAR and NIS will be available for inspection or purchase for a fee not exceeding the reasonable cost of making a copy during office hours at the offices of the Planning Authority.
