Project scope

For permission and retention permission at Rochestown Community Special School, Garryduff, Rochestown, Cork, T12A38N. The development to be retained consists of the (1) Use of the site as a school; and (2) Modifications to site layout including: (A) Demolition and removal of a modular building on the western boundary; (B) Construction of a new single storey modular building providing 5 no. SEN classrooms, 2 no. SET Rooms & 1 no. Technology/Multi-Purpose Room; (C) Installation of 2 no. shipping containers for storage to the North East corner of the site; (D) Alteration to the fence line to the north west corner and north of the site including repositioning of existing pedestrian and vehicular gates and installation of new pedestrian and vehicular gates; (E) A set down area to the front of the school within the site boundary; (F) Rearrangement of existing car parking (line markings) spaces to the front of the school, and (G) All other associated site development works, including all foul and surface water drainage works. The proposed development will consist of the continuation of use of the site as a school for a further temporary period of 5 years.
