Permission for development at the South Link Service Station, South City Link Road, Cork. The development will consist of works to the forecourt comprising: (1) The removal of an existing car wash unit (35.52m2) and its replacement with a new enlarged car wash unit (88.40m2), including the provision of a screen structure surrounding the proposed car wash. The proposed car wash will operate on a 24-hour basis. (4) Change of use of one of the existing vaulted spaces (Total gross floor area 74.84m2), along the eastern boundary from ancillary storage and customer welfare facilities to ancillary storage (68.77m2) and office use (78.77m2) assoociated with the service station; with associated amendments including provision of new first floor with entrance and lobby at ground floor; glazed external façade at first floor level; removal of customer welfare facilities and revised layout to ground floor storage area. The new unit will measure a total of 147.54m2 gross floor area. (5) The development also includes assoiated road markings to facilitate the drive-through coffee kiosk, together with all ancillary and site development works.
