The development will consist of raising ground levels with imported inert soil and stone to improve the agricultural output of the lands. It is proposed to import and recover inert soil and stone under a waste facility permit, and as a by-product under article 27 of the European Communities (Waste Directive) Regulations 2011 (S.I. No 126 of 2011) to the amount of 94,980 tonne. It will include installation of a wheel wash and all ancillary site works. A 10-year planning permission is sought.
