The proposed development will consist of the replacement of 1 no. existing 8m ESB Pylon of the existing Kilbarry-Flaxfort-Mayfield 38kV overhead line near the north-western boundary of the site with 1 no. new 12m ESB Type F lattice steel mast structure on a RC base; the construction of 1 no. new 12m ESB Type F lattice steel mast structure on a RC base near the south-western boundary of the site; the trenching and laying of approximately 723m of an underground 38kV ESB cable between the 2 no. new 12m ESB Type F lattice steel mast structures, 1 no. joint bay; and all associated site development and ancillary works.
