1) Demolition of an existing piggery, overground slurry tank and associated structures. 2) Retention of an existing feed blending house, storage bins, which are ancillary to the site use. 3) Construction of the following: a) a new piggery complex consisting of 4 number pig houses with slatted slurry storage, pig handling facilities, b) 8 no. feed bins, c) Plant & Electrical Building, d) an overground covered slurry storage tank, e) staff amenity block, f) septic tank and percolation area, g) rainwater harvesting and storm water attenuation tanks, h) relocation of the existing site entrance, i) associated concrete aprons, j) all associated ancillary site works, landscaping and drainage services. An AA Screening Assessment has been prepared and submitted to the Planning Authority with this application.
