the development will consist of: Decommissioning and removal from the site of the existing tanks, sumps, pipework, and equipment and all other associated clearance works; construction of a new (1) above ground inlet works complete with splitter chamber, (2) storm water holding tank complete with storm water overflow discharging to the Kilmihil Stream, (3) aeration tanks, (4) settlement tanks, (5) number of pumping stations, (6) sludge drying reed beds, (7) final effluent pumping station complete with new final effluent rising main and headwall for discharge to the Doonbeg River, (8) welfare building to include a control room, toilet, kitchenette, office and drying room, and (9) all associated works including all associated interconnecting above and below ground pipework, valves, plant and equipment, construction of an internal access road, 2 no. parking spaces, new security fencing of 2.4m high green steel palisade fence, and landscaping. A Natura Impact Statement (NIS) has been prepared in respect of the proposed development
